Case Description
My dentist did not correct my bite correctly after having a filling done. I had really bad hitting of two teeth (top and bottom) next to the one the that was worked on. She adjusted the problem, and now other ( in the front and opposite side in the back) teeth are hitting funny and hurt. I don't want to have her fix it. I want to change dentists becasue I don't trust her. Help!

Are You This Patient?
When selecting a new doctor, consider the following:
Quality of Explanations: Compare dentist replies. Give preference to well-reasoned, detail-oriented, transparent explanations.
Experience & Qualifications: If a dentist has a practice listing, check their practice description,
special training, typical office procedures and before & after case photographs.
Other Patients' Freedback: If a dentist has reviews, read other patients' reviews. The more
reviews they have, the more likely it is that other patients' feeback is accurate.
Treatment Costs: Dental procedure costs vary from practice to practice and depend on a variety of factors.
Because quality of patient care and treatment results vary from practice to practice most dentists will not "price-match" treatment fees of others.

Dear "bite off balance" ...The problem you discribe can be very easy to correct or could be very complex. It depends on how out of balance you were to start. You see ....your teeth are kind of like a four legged table with a wobble..........except that your mouth is like a 14 to 16 legged table........its a lot harder to get the wobbles out.....and completly balanced. You will have to start with models of your mouth that are mounted on a machine so they can be examened and your bite can be corrected on the models FIRST......otherwise the wrong teeth could be adjusted. If your muscles are in spasm that needs to be fixed first.......otherwise you can never get the teeth to come together the same way twice in as row.....I dont know if this helps with understanding your problem......but its only the begining of what needs to be provided to "rebalance" your bite Good Luck with your search. My advise : find a dentist who has the trainning and skills to correct oclusal (bite ) problems.Regards, Kosta J.
