I fell facefirst into bathtub edge, fractured alveolar ridge (now healed) and had one broken tooth removed, but I need to have an implant/partial/brige as it is causing problems with my other teeth (the way I hold my jaw and chew gets messed up), as well as being very unsightly. I had some bad experiences with dentists in the past, and while I am able to cooperate, I am daunted by the task of finding a competent dentist in a town where I don't have any referrals. I'm really not sure what needs to be done although I did see a local dentist for the extraction so I can provide x-rays. I do have insurance, but their provider list doesn't tell me who is any good. I'm also not sure if I need implant, bridge, or partial....*please* help me....
